Ahahah, I don't think this is important enough for CFO, so I'm posting here.
I'm probably going to have to go on a not-hiatus until 23 July. I'll still be replying to threads, only really slowly (probably even over days slowly) and I'll do my best on days off to get my characters out and posting.
If you need to talk to me, I'll either be on gchat or on email. I will always get emails. >D If I've left anything hanging, let me know and I'll do my best to pick up on it. |

I'm not going to post to CFO until later on in the week, but chances are people have realised this anyway.
I've been dropping threads left and right this last week because I've finally realised that all of my assessments are due on the same day. Unfortunately, these range from a 15% letter of legal advice to a 80% essay on the theoretical underpinnings of property law. Yeah, I don't know what that means either, actually. It's my goal to get at least one of my essays out of the way this week, preferably one of the major ones and the two little ones so that the next month can be me focusing on these last two major papers.
Furthermore, at the end of this week, I'm going to be declaring an actual hiatus. Closer to this time, I'll post to CFO detailing how long said hiatus will be (because at the moment I simply don't know) and what my characters will be doing during said hiatus.
If you need me for anything for the next week, hitting this post is the way to go. If you're an IRC person, you can ping me, but I may not answer because I may be contemplating burning effigies.
For those who want to know, I have almost finished the first draft of my first major essay. I'm just ... short a thousand words. D: |

Serenity, Parts 1 & 2 aka "notthemovie"
The introduction episode. We meet the cast and find out how Simon, River and Book joined the crew. We're also introduced to Reavers and the fact that Serenity's crew are partners in suckitude. In the pecking order, they are pretty far down.
We also learn a little about the Alliance, mainly that it has far reaching powers but that Serenity at this point of time simply isn't worth their time chasing after.

Okay, because my characters are fantabulous freaks or don't know what Christmas actually is, I'm just posting this once.
Christine
Francescu, Clark, Violet and Sophie: Baked goods. You know, fudge, biscuits, that sort of thing? Itty bitty christmas hampers.
Simon
River: String models of all major landmarks of Osiris, hanging from a mobile.
Mal: A dress that may fit, an Inara and a Kaylee doll and an apology, explaining that actually he did order Inara and Kaylee in but as you can see, it didn't quite work out as planned.
Wash: A Zoe doll. Same note. The Zoe doll is wearing a Hawaiian shirt over her usual clothing, as one does.
Ahiru, Fakir, Rue and Mytho: A phonograph and records, with a note that you all have to share. Not poor, rly.
Wolfwood: A smack upside the head. This is pending his return.
Willow
Buffy and Kon: Books. Specifically, books about living out of home, maritial stuff, that sort of thing. SHE MEANS WELL.
Xander: Books about carpentry. She watched the later seasons.
Rikuou and Kazahaya: Books about how to resolve tension with your partner. Once they finish reading the book, they get these protective amulets that prevent one camp affliction.
Seeing as though I'll be seeing the delinquent nephew tomorrow and getting more sunburned, we can assume this happened off screen? Please? I hate my timezone. |
